The 84 Vette project needs to be light, it needs to have big horsepower and it needs to be able to stop instantly. This may sound pretty obvious but I have no interest in going 150 mph and not be able to stop safely and that is where good brakes come in. Building a 1984 Corvette is a challenge because the aftermarket for the most part has ignored these cars and doesn't build much in the way of performance parts for it. High end aftermarket brakes for the 84 Vette were not available so I sent my spindles out to Aerospace in Florida and they built some custom pieces for me. The coolest part of the new brakes is that they have trick calipers and they made some 2 piece rotors which reduces rotating weight. The brakes are truly a work or art.
