Mount Vernon has a brand new water park that is located where the Community Pool once was. The water park includes a high speed slide, a large tube slide, 3 pools, a mid height diving board, lots of lounge chairs, a water playground, a snack bar and even more amenities. The new park opened in June of 2007 and people from all over Central Ohio visited the park this year. If you haven't visited the Hiawatha Water Park in Mount Vernon yet you are in for some fun in the sun.
